My wife and I would like to tell potential clients of Ken and/or Jo-Marie Nelson that choosing them as an agent would be a smart move. After struggling to sell our home in Enfield during the market slump of 2009 with an agent in a neighboring county, we decided to try relisting with a new, local agency. Having known Jo-Marie and Ken from their involvement in the community, they were on our “short list.” After our first meeting with them, we had all but made up our mind they were the agents we were looking for.
Their knowledge of market conditions in the greater Enfield region was valuable, and helped form our expectations on pricing. Hiring Ken and Jo-Marie brought some unique advantages that we found real value in. First, their local connections aided in us ultimately finding a buyer, because they utilize networks and new media as part of their marketing plan. Second, their salesmanship and communication level was superb. They knew how to handle the unique qualities of our home and turn them into selling points.
Last but certainly not least, was Ken’s ability to aid in the negotiation phase with his knowledge of being a contractor. We avoided costly expenses due to his savvy business sense and experience in areas concerning home improvement and maintenance. Living over 90 minutes from the property, he was even able to help with some of the minor requests our buyers had, in terms of some repairs. We found this to be a lifesaver, with two kids at home and busy schedules.
To anyone looking to sell their house with a motivated agent who will listen to your needs, respond to your phone calls/e-mails, and take your concerns seriously, we would highly recommend these folks to list your property.

I am so glad I called you that day Jo-Marie!!! Things happened so quickly when you came into the picture for us! We feel it was plain good luck that my mom suggested Ken to us and that you were available and happened to have a buyer looking for a condo! It's funny how things work out!
Ken, thank you for arranging for the tub to get fixed and for the track lighting and for us to not have to worry about that.
